Leaf Light
Herman Miller's Leaf uses innovative LED technology to bring the human touch to lighting. Designed by Yves Béhar of fuseproject in San Francisco, Leaf allows the user to manage lighting intensity, colour, and on/off by simply touching the intuitive controls.
The sculptural style that won it a place in the New York Museum of Modern Art Collection is backed up by eco-credentials: Leaf’s LEDs only use 9 watts of power and can last for up to 40 years under normal use. The adjustable upper and lower blades allow light to be directed. For ambient lighting fold the upper blade close to the lower blade. For task lighting the upper blade can be positioned at a right angle to the lower blade, and for wall-wash light the upper blade can be pivoted straight up and focused towards the wall.
